Answers, Part 1.
It's been busy at work, so I'll have to finish answering some questions later.
What do you think it is about this "ask me a question" meme that makes it viral/catchy/sticky/infectious?
It is low maintenance, it provides one with one or more posts of at least mildly interesting content, and it doesn't scream out "Meme!" in the same way that many memes do.
Which quality, trait, skill or piece of knowledge have you gained since adulthood (that you didn't have as a child/teen) do you feel is most important to who you are today?
Contentment.
What's up with your obsession over tablesaws?
It's not an obsession, just a name.
A while back, my then girlfriend was working on a class project involving the creation of a virtual set-construction shop. To aid her in this, I began researching various tools on the Internet, specifically to find their dimensions so that she could accurately represent them on a floor plan. At one point I needed to look for a tablesaw, and I thought, "'Tablesaw', that's a fun word."
Shortly thereafter I needed to enter a username to some Internetty thing or another, and I realized that I'd grown quite tired of the name that I'd been using as a standard handle for the last decade. I remembered how much I liked the word "tablesaw", and decided to use it. It stuck, and now it's a name that I answer to in real life.
What do you look like?
Something like this.
Oh, I just saw the answer, nevermind!
Thirty-one hours.
If you were a rocketship would you fly me to the moon?
Yes, and I'd show you what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars.
