What a sweet audioblog! When I was your age, Tablesaw, I worked in the public library and read many books in the children’s department for Wednesday night story hour. Did you also design a thematically related art project for your listeners to work on after the story?
Your choice of stories reminded me of a recent NPR story about the life of Theodor Geisel. The biographer mentioned that Springfield, Massachusetts (Geisel’s hometown) had a Mulberry Street and that he believed that the street actually did run into Bliss. I just checked an on-line map and found that Mulberry appears to run between Union and Maple. I lost a bit of my innocence with that discovery.
