I'm sitting at my desk, too spent to move.
There was too much work last night, major proofing and copy editing jobs that I had to go thtough at top speed. Since I work at a law firm, I can't talk about most of it. But I can say: I HATE ENRON! And more than hating Enron, I hate people who can't spell, people who don't use hyphens when using compound nouns as adjectives, people who can't make up their minds whether to use a serial comma before and in a list and Microsoft Word's idiotic SmartQuotes feature that refuses to let one type an apostrophe at the beginning of a word without correcting it to an opening single quotation mark.
The NYTX took me a while too: 34 minutes. But unlike my other work, the Sunday puzzle had a brilliant theme.
Now I need to go home, but inertia is keeping me here. I need to go to sleep so I can wake up and go to Mass at six, where I will be able to intercept T. Tonight, damnit, tonight!
Wah, I don't want to move. Maybe I'll do the LATX.
