Playing Catchup.
If you've been slouching on TV, tonights a good time to stay at home and have a party.
Two of the best episodes of Veronica Mars are going to be on the air tonight. Not on the UPN, but on the big, fancy Columbia Broadcasting System (that's CBS, if you're more acornymically inclined). At eight, it's the pilot episode. At nine, it's "An Echolls Family Christmas." If you still haven't started watching Veronica Mars, you'll be breaking my heart by not watching this.
Of course, if you have already watched this season, there's another wonderful, overlooked show airing in a block tonight. Fox is airing four episodes of Arrested Development in the same eight-to-ten timeslot. It's the first four episodes of season two, and they're pretty darn good.
So, there you have it. The only decision you should have to make tonight is which of these two channels to turn to.
I sent the crossword mentioned in the last post to a few folks, but not to all. I planned on tinkering with the clues, but I may end up doing a larger revision of the grid to get rid of an unsightly entry. If you haven't gotten a puzzle, you may still, soon.
