Veronica Mars Is Smarter than Me

I stayed up late. That's normal on a Sunday.

Then, as I was about to turn in, I noticed that the replay of Veronica Mars was only a half hour away. Since I was still a bit worried about the VCR not working correctly, I decide to stay up to watch it. Which means I stayed up for another 90 minutes.

Of course, after watching the episode, I can't sleep.

There's a lot going on in the show. And it's all building up to Tuesday's episode. And it's all crazy. And it's too fascinating to let me sleep. And it's too complicated to explain while I'm tired.

Hopefully, I can focus my thoughts before Tuesday.

For now, here's my bald speculation:

It's all about the stadium.

Hah! You and I are on the same wavelength. In honor of season 2 drawing to a close, I spent most of yesterday watching highlights from season 1 on your dvds (which I must return to you someday, I know). :-)

I'm honestly not sure what to make of the end of season 2. There are so many red herrings out there, and watching season 1 again reminded me that the way I thought things were going at the end of the penultimate ep, and the way they actually concluded were totally different. Your prediction makes as much sense as any. But I look forward to being surprised again, since the whole trial was a massive letdown.

And according to internet sources, it sounds like we've got a season 3 to look forward to! Yaaaaay!

Season 3! Rockin! Good speculation, btw. Makes sense for a few reasons. I'm wondering which elements of the plot they're going to solve, which will get carried over to next season (cliffhanger prediction: something to do with Casablancases and/or Fitzpatricks), and which will be just conveniently left in limbo.
