Set the DVR Now! NOW!

The word has come down that the first airing of my appearance on Merv Griffin's Crosswords will be on Tuesday, October 23. It's only going to air on the channels that are showing two episodes per day. You can figure out if it's showing in your area by checking the website.

TueNYTX: 4:30. TueSUNX 8. I wasn't giving the Sun my full attention, obviously.

Congrats!

Odd point: Elfman, Music Man, Andrew, and I all taped different shows on the same day, but before you taped your show (we taped on August 31). I don't think any of us have heard from them. I have not, for certain. Wonder if the One-and-Done technique is coming into play. They can show them in any order. I thought it odd that we weren't given an air date when we taped. I think it's obvious now.

I've got my DVR set to go for all of them. I can quickly check to see if there is someone playing whom I know and kill the wabbit (no, not her), if not.

October 23 -- Tuesday. Got it.

I was afraid of that -- Denver only airs one MGC ep a day, so I guess I will have read the recaps on October 23.

As I understand it, cities like LA, which show two shows a day, aired episodes 1-10 in the first week, but the other areas aired eps 1-5. So in week two, when LA was showing 11-20, they were still showing 6-10.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a "dark show" that airs each day. I think there are just two different distribution schedules.

That's my understanding. The show promised to let us know about both airdates, so I'll be able to give everyone else a heads up too.
