It's January 6, the Feast of the Epiphany, Little Christmas, Twelfth Day (Twelfth Night was yesterday), the end of the Christmas Season, and that means it's time to take down this tree.



Sigh. It's been a good tree, but its time has come. Farewell, tree. I shall miss you festive lights, but I shall be glad that I can once again watch television while frying a quesadilla.

It is also my friend Bridget's birthday, which thanks to Tony's post I remembered for the first time ever.

And while there are no official records to back this up, by tradition Joan of Arc is 591 years old today.
