I Hate Gardening.

...Particularly when it involves leaf blowers for two hours outside my bedroom when I'm trying to sleep, as it did on Tuesday. I woke up at about three and was never able to get back to sleep So on Wednesday, I went to sleep at 8:30 and didn't wake up until 7:30. That was fun. And restful. My dad dropped by as I was very tired to give me a birthday gift from my parents. !rorrim a s'tI !yllaniF

I was kept awake last night, barely, by a suite of puzzles offered up as an aperitif to the Mystery Hunt in just a little over a week. I managed most of them quickly, but now I'm completely stymied by the last puzzle. My cosolving friend seems to be in the same boat, which isn't very helpful.

Still have some cold shopping to do, which should be easier now that I'm not tired. And on Friday, I'm going to the aforementioned concert with wintercolours. It should be fun.

Hm. This entry is scattered and unhelpful. I blame leafblowers.

My friend briel is setting out from Sacramento right about now and I should be seeing her early this afternoon; all in all, I think is going to be a very excellent weekend, hopefully inclusive of a very excellent show. The KF has a great record where I'm concerned, so I'd love to think all the other bands will be enjoyable, too.

I am now using leafblower-blame as shorthand for scatteredness. I mean... leafblowers, you know?
