Isn't it funny how, when one is feeling down about not getting out enough, someone often calls with an offer of stage management? I find that unusual.

So now, Rwth and I will be co-stage managing The Dining Room for the next few weeks. Lots of getting up early. Lots of getting out. This should be good.

(OK, your mileage may vary. I still don't love the script, but the production my partner was in was well-acted enough for me to forgive it.)

Excellent. Stage managing is a lot more fun than many people (such as I) make it sound. And it's definitely a cure for not getting out enough. You will come to treasure your quiet time at home. Trust me on this. :)
