The special guest star in my dream today was shadesong who was in town for an unnamed semiformal event. Dream Shadesong looked nothing like shadesong, and yet, was still shadesong. At one point, she was described by wjukknibs' brother-in-law to an old friend from Cherubs as "Tablesaw's hot chyk friend." The event ended with a fun and exciting game of Pyramid. Unfortunately, I cannot remember any of the categories or clues.

How do you know how "chyk" was spelled if you overheard it?

First, keep in mind that earlier in the dream, I identified a person correctly despite her obstinate refusal to look like the person she was.

Second, 'chyk' has a rather specific usage on ifmud that I can't accurately explain. It may have something to do with this.

Not memorably, although there were a lot of family/friends-type people who didn't get to do much individual. Also, it was the brother-in-law, of your second-oldest sister (who is the brother-in-law I can most easily imagine saying it anyway).
