Open Letter.

Dear Exterminators:

I understand that it is a very good thing to spray pesticides that will prevent the eggs of the fleas from ever hatching. I think we all can agree on that. But how come you can't put the whammy down that kills the fleas that are alive right now! I am sick and tired of having to spend five minutes picking bugs off of my legs, pants and socks every time I leave the house. Adult fleas can apparently live up to three months. Am I supposed to keep doing this until Halloween?

Itchingly yours,
Tablesaw

When you pick them off, make sure that you squish them between you forefinger and the tip of your thumbnail until them make a popping noise. My grandma assured me that is the only way to know if they are dead.

I heard once that an effective way of getting rid of fleas involved soapy water and a strong lamp; found it described here:

You're probably sick of ways to get rid of them, but it couldn;t hoit.
