I have just been informed that the absolutely amazing Kid Beyond is going to be beatboxing in Los Angeles on Saturday. That is to say, today, mere hours away. Not to Murdoch: Way not enough notice. The shows are both part of larger events. At four p.m., he's going to be at the LA Burning Man Decompression. At eleven p.m., he'll be performing at a party affiliated with the Brewery Artwalk. Both sound like good and nifty events, and you should go. I, of course, can't, because I need to go to bed early so that I can attend my grandmother's birthday dinner. Then I have to go to work. Le sigh.

Also, that thing I mentioned that I forgot what it was? I have refound it: Pink Martini's new album. Finally! Hooray!
