Veronica Mars continues to rock all ass. Watch it. Yes, I mean you.

Moreover, if it should happen that any NPL member goes crazy insane, murders several people, and leads police officers on a trail of clues around town, he or she should damn well be better at it than the guy from last night's Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. I mean, that rebus was so incredibly vague! That serial killer would get eaten alive during the Mystery Hunt!

I watched about 45 seconds of it last night, but decided that seeing Airplane for the millionth time was a better use of my evening. Besides, in order to maintain an acceptable level of self-respect, I can only like one or two primetime soaps at a time, and The OC starts in a couple of weeks.

I encourage you to jump ship from The OC to Veronica Mars. The latter is also set in an affluent area south of Los Angeles, but it's closer to San Diego. Also, Veronica Mars had the guts to (shock) underplay its conflicts and respect the intellegnce of the viewer. (More than most other shows, at least. It is still television.)

I didn't see that episode, but for some reason, now I'm getting this mental image of Leon from Midnight Madness as the killer. Same kind of vagueness, it sounds like. Actually, that would make a weird sequel...
