Week(end)^2
Is my house clean? No. Is it cleaner? Yes.
I focused on my "living room," which meant a lot of straightening up of DVDs and videogames. So, here's what I got in the way of ultramedia:
Film Other Video Games Playstation 2 Dreamcast Playstation Nintendo 64 Super Nintendo Borrowing Being Borrowed Being Resold
I don't know what use it is, really, but I thought I'd write it all down. It might be helpful for the coming Christmas/Tablesaw's Birthday season as well. Maybe, if it's slow at work sometime soon, I'll put the appropriate links and formatting on the titles.

no Family Guy?!?!
Actually I don't have Family Guy either. I've been trying to only buy anything that I *know* I will want to watch on my own a number of times, rather than just keep catching it on TV or renting it. (Yay Netflix!) I never even bought Simpsons, Buffy or Futurama on DVD until you posted that sale link from Amazon recently. But Family Guy is something I'd definitely want: maybe once the new eps come out I'll get them all.
It's too bad Samurai Jack just didn't pull in the ratings hoped for. No more new ones, ya know. :(
Secret of NIMH: I just can't get into Don Bluth's features. Everything looks waay waay too rotoscoped. But it's still amazing what he was coming out with at the time when he and the other guys left Disney to get back to their roots. (Disney has already done Fox & the Hound by this time, with the Black Cauldron a few years later.) I was hoping Anastasia was a sign of Bluth's comeback but ... And I'm still gaga for his arcade stuff, Dragon's Lair and Space Ace. (So is, surprisingly, TMcAy.)
TPPG movie? That's surprising. It was nice enough, but eh. Maybe I'm over just them now. Too bad -- Craig McCracken still designs like no one can. (I love what he's doing completely on the computer with Foster's, even if Bloo is an annoying jerk.)
What's this? No Game Boy? *gasp* I've been having a ball trading Pokemon with my nephew ... yikes, do I really need yet another addiction?
Toonhead!
No Family Guy!!!!
I know about the no new Samurai Jacks. I'm still hoping that the recent Emmy will restart the production. "The Tale of X9" was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. And the faux-Vangelis soundtrack was great.
The Secret of NIMH is a childhood favorite that is very close to my heart.
I'm a fan of the Powerpuff Girls in general, and I received the movie as a gift. It was fun, and some of the art is very nice, but nothing too spectacular. However, I recommend that anyone who enjoys the series rent this and listen to the character commentary by Mojo Jojo. It is hilarious.
I actually do have a few Game Boy games kicking around, but no Game Boy. I didn't list those because they were still too scattered around. Same with a few VHS tapes I have somewhere.

Is the next you're going to tell us that I'm Gonna Get You Sucka is one of those mysterious VHS that you won't mention?

Manos, Hands of Fate.
Best. Episode. Ever.
But dude, where's the original NES? No video game collection is complete without a first edition gold cartridge Zelda.

Now, I just use Zelda Classic.
