Time Keeps On Slipping
Once again, the clocks turned against me. I went to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cramerica's party, as foretold, but forgot my watch and my cellphone. Thus bereft of chronometers, I still had a good time. I checked a clock at one point and saw that it was around 10:30 p.m., leaving me easily enough time to get to work. So I went back adn chatted for about a half-hour more and went to check the clock. It was now 11:45. Again, bad. This time I was actually late, so I called work and let them know. Also, someone dropped a mattress onto the freeway, which led to someone crashing into the mattress, which led to someone slowing down to avoid the person who crashed into the mattress, which led to some one crashing into someone slowing down to avoid the person who crashed into the mattress, which led to many, many people slowing down to avoid all of this, which led to me being even later.
Remeber that party I was goinng to have? Not so much with the happening, ultimately. So I'm going to try to hold an after-Christmas gaming night on the 26th or the 27th. Details to follow.
