This really seems like it should be Arrested Development, but I don't think anybody acknowledges they're in a TV show.

I deliberately erred on the side of obscurity for most of these. I'm relying on obsessive fandom to identify them, and I have bonus quotes for some that are too hard.

However, I am going to revise the post right now to add that these are, in fact, ten of my favorite TV shows, and each quote is from my favorite character.

The "travel size" comment was Reducto on Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law.

The penultimate one sounds like the garage sale episode of Venture Brothers, but I can't remember who said it.

And Logan (possible my favorite character on any show this season) said the "Wang Chung" line on Veronica Mars (absolutely my favorite show).

Some of the others sound familiar, but those are the ones I'm certain of.

Crap -- sorry (especially about the follow-up -- that's what I get for skimming instructions). Give me credit for Logan -- there's enough Harvey Birdman fanatics out there that others will recognize Reducto, but Veronica Mars is truly a special show.

For those wondering what's going on, yendi correctly identified 4.5 of the quotes in about as many minutes. Since I was at the computer, I screened the comments so that other folks aren't spoiled and he's only get credit for #2, Logan Echolls in Veronica Mars.

Okay, now I'm kicking myself for not catching the "gay" comment, which was from Troy McClure on the "A Fish Called Selma" episode of The Simpsons.

And thedan's comments above sparked me on #1 -- Arrested Development, although if it's what I'm thinking of, it was said by the narrator.
