Whaaa--?

You may not have noticed, but I haven't posted in a while. Here's why.

First, I've fallen in love with a beautiful young woman. This is not something I easily talk about on my journal, because the last time I even mentioned here that I was dating someone, I got harassed by two guys stalking different people who they thought I was dating. But it's something that's taking up a lot of my time in a wonderful way. Unfortunately, she's in Massachusetts, which means that, from my point of view, she lives in my computer most of the time. So most of my computer time is dedicated to her.

Second, work has been busy. I haven't really had much time to do writing or chatting during downtime there.

Third, there's some stuff I'm working on that is secret. Secret things I can't talk about don't make very good post fodder.

Third, a lot of my life has been a bit unremarkable. I mean, it makes me happy to beat the Earth Temple of The Wind Waker while watching The Simpsons and Family Guy, but it isn't the most inspirational thing to write about. I might be able to think of somethign to say, but I'm too busy with first, second and third.

And there it is. If you're worried, just know that I'm feeling very happy about life right now. And I'll try to throw some focus Interwebby way.

Hey, if you're happy, congrats! :)

Me in a nutshell, lately.

Not that it was a problem from this quarter, since I happen to be stalking someone else entirely, but between some of your journal content and (especially) certain comments in the beautiful young woman's journal, you weren't exactly keeping it a secret. It actually had struck me as odd that, while it clearly wasn't a secret, it wasn't ever being talked about, either. Now that you've expressed the rationale, it makes perfect sense that you wouldn't have talked about it much, but it had seemed very strange up to that point.

Anyway, congratulations and best wishes that life continues to treat you well.

Secret stuff

Waiting with much anticipation for at least some of that.

Also, big mazel tov to you both!

The earth temple is pretty hard, so you should be proud of it to the point of making an LJ post.

Also, play katamari damacy.

Well, as long as it's on your list.

katamari

Fine, if you insist.

Note to tablesaw: I'm theoretically off the wagon for a few particular games, but by a twist of near-twilight-zone irony I can't seem to get into any of them at the moment.

COFFEE WITH SINISTAR

KD is addictive, and the soundtrack is awesome. You'll find yourself thinking you can roll up things in real life (say, with your car) and humming the tunes all week. There's a DS version in the works if oyu don't have a PS2, but Katamari Damacy 2 is slated for release maybe next year or something like that.

The King Of All Creation is a bit of a dick, though, and his crotch is scary.

Beware!

The last frame from angryflower.com/tn1ter.html needs usericonning, but it's too tall to really get all of it in. It's such a different Bob.

Wait, does this mean I'm a lovable computer gnome?

Congratulations! Very happy to hear about your ladylove.

That's really great to hear (well, read). I was wondering where you had disappeared to and you have the best reason to not be around LJ.

Can't beat falling with beautiful young women in Massachusetts and spending all your leisure time with them. (Except by spending time with them, of course.) Congratulations for running with your heart and I hope there are happy things to tell in the future!
