I guess that I can't expect Alex Trebek to get a reference to [SPOILER] but it would have been so awesome if he had.

What's odd is that he was so bemused after already being involved with [SPOILER].

oh man, I didn't know about that. On the one hand it's funny that Trebek forgot about it, but on the other it dilutes the contestant's geek pedigree substantially.
