The Plan.

The plan was to stay up all night, writing up my Merv Griffin's Crosswords experience, now that the show has aired and my silence is over.

But then I spent all day awake and worrying for no reason. So I have to sleep.

But here's the bottom line: I won $5500, a weekend at the Wynn Las Vegas, and a week in Puerto Rico. Also, I had a great time and kicked ass. (Despite that spoiler cut, feel free to post spoilers in the comments.)

Special thanks to jeffurrynpl, nplloquacious, and toonhead_npl for working so hard to get me a version of the show to have for the party. Ultimately, it was Jeffurry who was able to make it work first, but Toonhead! is the one responsible for the screenshot from which this icon comes. I'm going to leave it as default for a little while, then go back to the crazy animation, which was also from Toonhead!

I don't know, the trip goes through Vegas.com, apparently. But I imagine that we won't be in the fancy suites, only in one of the cheap, cheap rooms.
