Meant to post this last night, but it didn't go through. Today, my mother will be making her appearance on Merv Griffin's Crosswords. I know that most of the puzzlers reading this don't watch it regularly, but I'd love to hear all your comments on the game.

Just watched my MGC backlog. Although the snow the day your mother was on was not bad, our local station managed to preempt about 2/3 of the show with a weather report. Maybe it'll be rerun in full at some point.
