Actually, that's an interesting question. If a man & woman get married, legally, in a non-gay-marriage-recognizing state, and then one of them gets a sex change, are they still married?
There have been a couple of cases like this. I think the courts have in general responded by saying "What?" and I'm not sure there's any established precedents.
