I'm not talking about the ZyzzlCon delegation. I'm talking about this stuff falling from the sky here in Boston.

Luckily, at elainetyger's suggestion I got a better pair of gloves from La Verde's. (And when I say I got them, I mean I tricked someone into getting them for me because he wanted coffee.) Of course, I'm still wearing them inside. I think it's colder indoors at MIT than it's been outside my house all weekend.

I've been sleeping well, but only by Hunt standards, which means I'm still a little bit loopy. That's why I suddenly have filk parodies in my head to write.

It was amazing how much the cab slipped and slid in the slush this morning, considering I keep hearing about how wonderfully New England handles snow compared to other areas. Maybe because it's Sunday, they don't have as many people available as usual? Where I live, the politicians love to hand out the triple overtime to their friends and family, so I'm sure all the streets have been plowed and salted twice.
