Pinball Wizard (Free Xbox Game)

Now until Wednesday, the Pinball FX2 is giving away a free pinball table to play with their game. Pinball FX2 is also a free download, but you usually have to pay to downnload individual tables to play within it. But for now, you can get one pinball table completely free.

"Paranormal" is a really nice table. I played it today and found it fairly straightforward, for all of its bells and whistles. It's very reminiscent of the classics Twilight Zone and Theatre of Magic.

I'd love to see other friends on the high scores tables, so if you have a chance, get this now.

Huh. I didn't like most of the free tables they had before. Maybe I'll check it out.

Also: are you playing Dungeon Defenders? I need more folks to co-op with! (Action RPG/Tower defense game, super fun).

I really don't much care for tower defense games, so I'd been avoiding it on Steam and XBLA. How is it?

It's super fun! You set up your traps, then when the waves come, you run around trying to take them out and help hold up your defenses. I think of it more like a Zelda-ish Halo with some automated turrets to assist. That said, it does still require some thinking about tower placement, etc.
