...Insaniquarium is great. The only problem is the number of levels in the online version. Not enough. And I'm probably going to have to repeat all of my work when I download the "Deluxe" version, whenever that becomes available. But yeah, it's lots of fun, especially in the higher levels when the pandemonium increases at an almost-exponential rate. (To think, I thought the Mermaid would be a good thing!)
Zorf is just one of the many creatures you can come across who'll help you with your game playing. He's a great one to have, especially on the later levels, when you have other things to worry about than if your fish get fed! At the end of just about every level, you'll get another creature you can use to help you play further into the game. It gets kind of insane, but it's lots of fun.
...but you will soon begin to hate them even more than you thought you COULD. After all, I'm guessing you haven't seen all the different types of aliens yet... :)
You should've heard the cursing. I almost thought I'd have to leave the building in order to scream properly.
Does clicking on them do anything? Anything at all? Because I guess "G" stands for "Gobbler" or something, which is fine, but *tough.* Also, the D-Class alien seems to be nearly impossible to beat. If I use the cute whale-guy as a pet and make sure to have at least one baby/med guppy in the tank at all times, I can survive, but accumulating money is a lot more difficult--it takes a lot longer. I tried looking online for hints or whatever but am coming up tip-less. Any advice?
I've actually found myself growling at the D-class mofo. Mumbling things like, "eat my fish, why doncha. I'm gonna git you.."

I didn't get to play today so I can't speak on the D-Class alien, butthe G-class alien eats until he explodes. Luckily, he seems to prefer fish food to fish, so if you've got weak pellets, be sure to lure him into a safe area while you feed him, with high-power pellets, just assault him with food until he dies. Be careful, though. If you drop the food on him instead of to the side or over him, he tends to miss it.
I just took on the D-class, and here's my advice. First, use Rufus the Crab to doo some damage and help keep the guy in check on the floor. You want to make sure that he's stuck in a corner; otherwise, you'll be in trouble. Next, focus your laser attack on his missile launcher. When the missiles come out, shoot down the missiles and then return your focus to the alien. If he's in the corner, then the missiles should travel in a pack for a while, making it easier to pick them off. If you've got starcatchers targeted, leave them for last. After a while, it will be easier to buy a new one than to regrow a starguppy if you lose one or more.
Oh yeah...
cliff'd be proud
I got Zorf the sea horse! Is that like a power-up?
Sort of.
"wow, you sold me"
I've never hated aliens so much in my life. Those motherfuckers.
You think that NOW...
Re: "wow, you sold me"
Also, if the curses you spew when you meat the "G-class" alien wake me up, I shall be angry, but not surprised.
