Simple Puzzleheadedness
(which is a googlewhack, when using the content filter)
So there is nothing going on at work. Monstrous, flaming pies of nothing. It's lunch, and I've spent circa 10 minutes working. (I typed a label! Go me!) So instead, I'm scanning through my puzzling options. I whacked Google for a bit, then moved on to my crosswords. New York Times and LA Times Syndicate went down in thirty-two and eighteen minutes, respectively. Not bad. I then went over to the National Puzzlers' League. I'm a member of this group, which publishes a small magazine for members containing a goodly amount of tricky word puzzles (in verse, even). There's been a delay in printing, so the February issue became available only today, and the March installment will follow early next week. Further, I've only a few days left to finish up my work on the January issue; solutions are due this week. The delays have distracted me from that work, and I've fallen far behind. Further still, I still don't have a puzzle to bring to the Local NPL Chapter "Puzzling Party," this Saturday. Maybe it's good that there's no work today.
