Almost

I think everything's under control. I did most of my laundry today, and I should be able to finish up the last small load later today. Most of my packing is done, and I found a gift for my sister. There's still a lot to do, though.

After work, I drive down to LAX to exchange my fly-free voucher for an actual ticket. Then, depending on what time it is, I stop for either a quick or a leisurely dinner. (I'd prefer the latter, but one of the two is despserately needed. I left some lunch in the freezer here at work, but for some reason the refrigerator was unplugged earlier today. No, I would not like a rotting burrito, thank you.) Then off to LMU to save seats at my sister's graduation for my family. Once I get there, I'll probably take a nap too. (I'm going to need it.) Once Sister graduates, I'm busting home. A quick stop along the way to pick up my prescription (I don't want to run out of meds while I'm away), then home to start the last load of laundry and sleep.

At some point, I'll be awakened by the sounds of revelry as Sister's graduation party arises around me. Get up, dressed and sociable quickly and have a good time. After the party, I finish any packing and laundry in time to catch a shuttle at 3:20 for my 6:45 flight.

And then? Nuthin'.

Ah vacation. Sleeping on a normal schedule whenever I want, no worries about anything going on, pool, dunes, beach . . . This is going to be good.

Of course, this means I probably won't be able to keep track of all of your wonderful LiveJournalled lives. It's a sad but necessary price to pay for mental freedom. I'll let you know all about it when I get back. Till then, I hope you all have a wonderful week.

SatNYTX: 35:30. Very hard. Very good.
