Ex is moving in with her fiance, and she group-emailed a bunch of people to give out her new information. I got a copy, but on the "blind carbon copy" list. What's up with that?

hope you don't mind

Are you friends with your ex and her fiance ?

i might get a slight touch of jerry springer if my ex did that.

when my ex just pops in my head I get a sinking feeling.

I realy don't even wanna know if and when my ex gets a fiance.

FWIW

It's common practice to use BCC for recipients of a mass e-mail so that

  • the "To:" line isn't clogged with fifty thousand names
  • people don't see other peoples' e-mail addresses
  • no accidental or deliberate Reply-To-All is possible

This is used a lot in mailing lists, for example.
