(no subject)
Ex is moving in with her fiance, and she group-emailed a bunch of people to give out her new information. I got a copy, but on the "blind carbon copy" list. What's up with that?

Are you friends with your ex and her fiance ?
i might get a slight touch of jerry springer if my ex did that.
when my ex just pops in my head I get a sinking feeling.
I realy don't even wanna know if and when my ex gets a fiance.

It's common practice to use BCC for recipients of a mass e-mail so that
the "To:" line isn't clogged with fifty thousand names
people don't see other peoples' e-mail addresses
no accidental or deliberate Reply-To-All is possible
This is used a lot in mailing lists, for example.

Yes, except that there were several people in the To: and Cc: lists, many of whom I recognize.
