May. 30th, 2002 02:30 amWoke up at five today, so I only got between six and seven hours of sleep. I expecting I'll be feeling this in a few hours, but I still should be able to get through most of the work day. Since I was up early, I went to breakfast/dinner with D. Among other topics of conversation, he invited me on a trip to Las Vegas for Independence day weekend.
As always, I'm torn. I really, really hate Las Vegas. It's a depressing desert that doesn't really do anything except suck away one's money. On the other hand, I do enjoy spending time with D and the other people who are tentatively going. At some point I'm just going to have to say, "Dude! Let's go to a place that's not Vegas!" But until then, I've got to figure out what to do.
