How long must I wait for the plumber?
Jul. 26th, 2002 05:48 amI visited my carriage-house-in-progress after work yesterday. The process has been delayed about a week already by a slow-moving plumber. The piping was supposed to be finished last week. Now, my uncle is hoping the guy will get his ass crack in gear so that they can do some real work on the weekend.
I did get to see what had been done so far, which was the major restructuring of the rooms and most of the electricity. The outlets are plentiful, which will be convenient, but my closet seems to be in my bathroom, which I hope shall cause no aromatic difficulties.
( A brief look at my new home. )
The move-in date is Sept 1, but we're not sure if that's going to happen. The plumber is dragging his feet and nothing else can be finished until he is. But once he is, the drywalling, painting and tile processes won't be too much of a problem. The biggest obstacle will be the installation of various things: sinks, shower, toilet, refrigerator, cupboards, etc.
But know this: the place shall surely rock.
