But my uncle made a mistake in telling me about the phone situation. He said that his electrician had run wire from the jacks in my home to the phone box for the house. This was true. However, he neglected to mention that the wire stopped right outside the box and was not connected to anything in the box. By the time he realized the problem, PacBell had already closed; so know I'm on his computer typing a message to the PacBell people. Grrrrrrrrr.
