Bourne to Be Whiled

On Monday, I went to see The Bourne Supremacy with Rwth. (Although I've written about Rwth before, and told her about this journal, she has never read the page. Now, she is reading. So, Rwth, your code name is Rwth. Remember it.) We went for a late showing in Hollywood and ended up in the Arclight Cinerama Dome, which is always a nifty experience. The movie was pretty good too, although I felt the last act was kind of tacked on. Sure, ending the film earlier would have left some loose ends, but lack of closure seems like par for the course of an amnesiac super spy. Afterwards, it was the glory that is Canter's.

Meanwhile, in Boston a few weeks ago, I was taking pictures. Several of the pictures were of Boston from places slightly outside of Boston, like the Arnold Arboretum, the whale-watching boat, and my hotel room. Yup. Pictures.

Solutions for the June Enigma are due this week. Current holes are #8, 21, 41, 44, 48, X1, X2, X5, X6, and all of the cryptograms. That's 90.7% completion for flats, so I'm doing pretty good.

And speaking of doing pretty good at flats, the competitive flat-solving team of cramerica and me did far better than we expected during the flat-solving competition in Boston. I'd say how well, but I forgot, so I'll have to wait until the results are printed in the August Enigma to tell you all about it.

Ouch.

VirginMobile screwed me out of getting a shot at going to the Kevin & Bean all-day "Sailin' and Nailin'" singles' party and cruise to Catalina. I don't want to talk about it. I'm bitter.

However, would anyone else like to join me at the Kevin & Bean Party Machine on Friday morning? Don't worry about whether or not you like the show or the music. For me, it's just about being able to go to a bar after work.
