But Oh What a Lot of Dew
Dec. 31st, 2004 12:06 pmChristmas was good and fun, but after it was over I crashed hard. I've spent every moment of spare time this week sleeping so that the niggling cold didn't become a debilitating cold. I've mostly succeeded, but my nose is still runny.
It's raining again. It started raining shortly before my party on Monday, and it's been more-or-less raining since. I wasn't inclined to do anything special on New Year's Eve, but now that it's raining again, staying in bed and reading is looking like a great way to ring in the new year. Oh, and for those of you ready to gloat about the weather, keep in mind that it hasn't rained on the Rose Parade since 1955.
I'd like to recap my holidays, so I may do that tonight while I'm not leaving the house to do anything. I may also play Silent Hill 3, or any number of things. The world is my oyster! (For values of the world that do not require leaving the house, of course.)
Still, I wouldn't have traded these holidays for anything, I hope that yours were just as good, and, if not, that you make up for it tonight. Or tomorrow. Or sometime soon.
