Yes, tonight I don't have to work, so I am able to attend satch's birthday party without checking my watch.

The Evite to his birthday contained a contest:

Fun fact: Many other great men were also born on March 2nd, including Reggie Bush, Ben Roethlisberger, Mikhail Gorbachev, Desi Arnaz, Jon Bon Jovi, Lou Reed, and Dr. Seuss. I will give out a special prize for the reply that best embodies anyone born on March 2.

Clearly, I had to take up the challenge.

Unfortunately, Evite has an absurdly small limit for the posting of light verse (375 characters), so my entry had to be truncated. I decided I'd post the original here, since the two lines that were easiest to cut had some of the elements that first inspired me to write the thing.
