Time Has Come Today.
Oct. 31st, 2007 06:38 amDear almost freaking everyone:
The majority of America is currently in Daylight Saving Time. That means that, barring local legislation, your local time is EDT or CDT or MDT or PDT or whatever. It is not EST or CST or MST or PST.
If you are, say, in New York, and you want to be cute by adding "EST" to your deadlines, you're not asking for things to be done according to your local time. You're asking for it to be done an hour earlier. Dumbass.
In a week, you can use "ST" all you want, but be aware that this year, Congress added two weeks of you looking like an idiot.
