Why Does CBS Hate Us?
Apr. 6th, 2005 12:03 pmFirst, The Amazing Race and Veronica Mars faced off. So when I saw that it was going to be on tonight too, I was excited. Until I realized that, tonight, it's up against the Boone-is-dying-and-Claire-is-having-the-baby-and-who-knows-maybe-that-mystical-hatch-light-of-Locke's-will-be-explained episode of Lost.
And also, the CBS "ads" for Numbers are the single best reason for me to get a DVR. I don't recall the ads for CSI being this revealing, but then Numbers is spending a lo of time making sure that its core mathematical principles are brief, clear, and evocative. Sadly, this means they are ripe for ad poaching. It seems odd to me that a network would want to reveal the twist to what is ostensibly a mystery show, but then again, they ran Murder, She Wrote for twelve years.
