Freedom Friday II
Mar. 9th, 2007 10:52 am. . . Will once again be spent with
satch. I inaugurate my GPSr with some evening geocaching. We'll figure out exactly where we want to head later, but I've chosen cahces focusing around "On a Clear Day. Or we might do "Simply Santa Monica," which is right by his house, but is quite a bit of walking for a single cache.
I spent most of today reacquainting myself with the website, and I'm really psyched about going out again. I have a feeling I'll sneak out again on Saturday, even though I'm supposed to be cleaning the house (which has gotten so, so bad).
I've got another Game Set Watch article due this weekend, and because of my schedule, I won't be able to put it off until late Sunday night. I'll probably put it off until late Saturday night, possibly Sunday morning. The tentative topic is the Tower of Hanoi, barring unforeseen complications.
I don't know who it was that linked to Dylan Hears a Who, but someone on my friends list suggested downloading the album of Dr. Seuss stories sung in the style of Bob Dylan before the lawyers forced it down. I did, but, IRONY, it was the internet itself that brought down the site with its insatiable interest. I heard "Oh, the Thinks You Can Think" on the site, but I didn't think it was so good. I stand by that, but I just listened to "Miss Gertrude McFuzz," and it's brilliant. So too is "Green Eggs and Ham." I can't wait to hear the rest.
But I will, because I have to rest.
