Last week, I checked the Sandman TPBs out of the library and gave the series a full read (minus The Wake, which they didn't have). It was the first time I'd read most of them in over a decade. - I don't see any way that Obama and Biden -- or their spokespersons -- can come back at her on anything remotely like an equivalent basis without instantly being smothered in "picking on the girl" and "being sexist exactly the same way they were sexist about Senator Clinton" accusations.
- If Obama or Biden try to hit back at the "mom next door" persona they're in even deeper water; they're radical liberals with no morals attacking motherhood and apple pie and football and the flag.

The rules for debating Gov. Palin are different. If you lecture her, you'll be seen as a sexist bully. If you act too smart, you'll be seen as a sexist bully. If you condescend to her, you'll be seen as a sexist bully.Biden has a lot to lose tonight. I'm just hoping that it doesn't translate to major losses for Obama, who, if the election were being held today, would be projected to win by a margin of awesome.
