That's Cold, Man.
Jan. 17th, 2009 07:51 amI complain about the temperature every time I go to Massachusetts. But this year is the worst I've seen in quite a while. And whether my body has changed or I'm simply more aware of what's going of what's happening, but my body is getting totally wrecked this year. I was unable to find my gloves in L.A., and I haven't been able to find replacements in my schedule here.
Yesterday, a little while after going outside for only a short period of time with very crappy gloves, my hands were in serious pain. They ached just to move, and the skin was peeling. As it got colder, outside and in, my hands started feeling like that even during all-indoor trips.
I've been massaging them with moisturizer, but I just feel like I'm getting crushed by the weather. Not just in a "woe is me (wink wink)" way, in a "I am being slowly killed by cold" way.
