A 5 is just about the level where some minor damage can start to occur. It was pretty near LAX, too. On the other hand, I'm not hearing much news, so I imagine nothing to bad happened over there.

By the time it hit Hollywood, it was pretty gentle, though it lasted a few seconds. Long enough for me to know that it was seriously felt somewhere.

Just before the earthquake, I'd just finished playing two short games about death:

Both are free broswer games. Different mythologies, similar design aesthetics. But a little bit freaky before the earth opened up.
