The special guest star in my dream today was shadesong who was in town for an unnamed semiformal event. Dream Shadesong looked nothing like shadesong, and yet, was still shadesong. At one point, she was described by wjukknibs' brother-in-law to an old friend from Cherubs as "Tablesaw's hot chyk friend." The event ended with a fun and exciting game of Pyramid. Unfortunately, I cannot remember any of the categories or clues.

Today's LA Times Syndicated crossword puzzle was written canadianpuzzler. I am amused that this Canadian puzzler managed to work a famous Canadian into the clue for the central down entry. Solve it now! My time was seven minutes.

Courts Is Funny.

As you may well know, I read legal documents for a living. Most of them are very dry and are enlivened only by the varying degrees of grammatical and typographical incompetence exhibited by their authors. In the past few days, though, I've found links to two very entertaining orders, both from judges. Maybe I should work for a judge.

Too sexy.

After running, I'm so hot. Literally. I can't put my glasses on because I steam them up.

I switched my route today so that it has less hills. It may also be marginally shorter, so I'm going to check on that. I'm running well, but my left leg is feeling very tight. I'm going to have to do more stretching before I head out. My lungs are doing much better than they were, though. I haven't had any more dehydration problems, but I haven't run in the hot, hot sun for a while, so we'll see how that goes.

For now, it's shower time.
